Camp to Belong Massachusetts

Camp To Belong is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reuniting siblings separated when placed in foster care. Lynn Price founded Camp To Belong in 1995 out of her own childhood experience in the foster care system. Separated from her older sister, Andi Andree, Lynn only developed a solid friendship with her sister as a young adult. Realizing how much they missed growing up apart, Lynn was inspired to create Camp To Belong. Campers take part in events, such as birthday parties, and pillow making, designed to help deepen the sibling connections. This Past August, Camp To Belong Massachusetts made it possible for brothers and sisters to create lifetime memories while they spent an amazing week in the Berkshires. Activities created for sibling participants include:

  • Camp-Wide Birthday Party
  • Horseback riding
  • Carnival
  • Beach Party/Pool Party
  • Fitness Fun
  • Sibling Talent Show
  • Banana Boat/Swimming
  • Creative Art Projects such as the “Sibling Pillow Project”
  • Life Seminars, Mentoring, and Inspirational Forums
  • Campfire Nights
  • Scrapbooking
